A historical drama set in the years 1800-1904, about the fathers and mothers and sons and daughters who with “spirit and perseverance,” through the good times and bad times, built the first church, St. Mary’s R.C. Church, in the new river town of Freeport, Pennsylvania.
Our story begins in 1800: George Washington was buried at Mt. Vernon on December 18, 1799. Thomas Jefferson has become our third president, the U.S. capitol has been moved to Washington, D.C. and the Library of Congress was established, and money was allocated for the purchasing of books! ”Common Sense!”
